The Balm Stick is specially designed for the post-healing stage of your tattoo. Once your tattoo has passed the initial healing phase, it helps deeply hydrate the skin, lock in moisture, and enhance the vibrancy of the ink, keeping your tattoo looking fresh and well-defined.
-
We don’t recommend using it during the first 3–5 days (depending on your healing process), when the skin is still in an open-wound state.
During this time, it’s best to use breathable, antibacterial aftercare products or protective films (such as JCONLY REVEN Protection Film).
Once your tattoo begins to scab and peel, you can start using the Balm Stick to keep the skin soft, prevent cracking, and support better ink retention.
-
The formula is designed to be gentle, but everyone’s skin is different. We recommend doing a patch test before first use:
- Apply a small amount to the inner forearm
- Wait 24 hours and observe
If you notice redness, itching, or irritation, discontinue use.

Not at all. In fact, well-hydrated skin is generally better prepared for touch-ups.
Just make sure that 24 hours before your appointment, the tattoo area is clean and free of any balm residue. This helps your artist work more smoothly and ensures better results.
